Non-Profit - Columbus, OH, US
Director, Village in the Ville & The Greater Columbus Network of Villages
The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center (CRC) is a 31 year-old settlement house located in North Columbus. It was originally organized by a local church to help people in the community and continues that tradition today. In 1973 the CRC became a freestanding, non-denominational social services agency and in 1975 became a United Way member agency. The CRC is a member in good standing of the Columbus Federation of Settlements, the Clintonville Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way Professional Advisory Council. As part of the century-old settlement house movement, the CRC is a community-based social services agency that brings people together to help individuals and families build upon their strengths. It promotes self-sufficiency while respecting individual worth, rights and dignity - thus creating a greater quality of life in the community.
