Clos de Lôm is a family owned winery founded by S. Dupuy De Lôme in 1836.We are a single state vineyard, and our goal is to produce high-quality wines that express our terroir.We consider that tradition in the vineyards and the winery can be maintained in parallel with cutting-edge technologies. Clos de Lôm wines are made to savor a full expression of the autochthonous varieties and the unique terroir in the Valley dels Alforins.Our wines are under the denomination of origin DO Valencia, which guarantees the quality. The area we are located in is renowned for its autochthonous grape varieties; Monastrell, Garnacha, and Malvasia. In our estate, we also grow the Spanish flagship variety - Tempranillo.We have unique growing conditions for vines, the climate is mixed, continental with sea climate since we are in the border, just 55 km from the Mediterranean Sea. The winters are mild, the summer days are hot, and the nights are cold, and we enjoy the fresh breeze from the sea. The soil is clay and limestone soils. The vineyards are low bush non-irrigated, the harvest is carried out solely manually.Every hillside, every terrasse, every mouth, and every plot offer a different micro-cru: The pure expression of these unique sites has from the beginning defined our winemaking philosophy.The time has come for sharing our best Dupuy De Lôme kept secret: wines intensely genuine.
