Close Encounterpanes is a quilt pattern design company, founded in (about) 1993. Twenty-Seven designs have been published in various issues of "quilt" magazines from Harris Publications. Chris Gilman is also a fiber artist and has produced many works shown in various art galleries and other national quilt shows.Several of the "outsider" paintings have been accepted into juried outsider artist shows.
