Who are we? Closting Innovations is a high capacity hosting company based out of Massachusetts. We provide Dedicated servers for business use, Website Hosting, and Game Servers. Recently, we upgraded our core network in order to support our growing amount of customers. Closting Innovations was founded on February 23, 2013 by Patrick Corcoran. We are a rapidly growing and adapting to our customers needs. Our dedicated servers are monitored 24/7 and as of today, we have never had a network outage of any kind. We have high level security routers in place in order to prevent DDOS and other kinds of attacks on our networks. Our core network is supported by a 10GbE backbone. How does our network work? Our edge switches are all connected with redundant 10GbE up-links to our core switches. We use vlans in order to secure and organize our network infrastructure. This means that you can be sure your data is safe because of our ACLs or Access Control Lists. From our edge switches, each server is connected with three network interface cards, two of which provide redundant connections to our network. The other network card is used to manage the server and monitor it. In order to compensate for high network volume, we use load balancers which will balance the load to each ISP or Internet Service Provider that we use. We have redundant ISPs in order to ensure up-time in the rare event that there is a natural disaster.
