Club Marítim Altafulla is the reference club for sailing in Altafulla, at the heart of the Costa Daurada. Founded in 1973 the non-profit purposed entity aims for the promotion and development of sailing and nautical activities. As a private-held club, membership allows to the members to have voice and vote on the assamblee. Although many of the activities are open to the non-members. The Club Marítim Altafulla has excellent institutional relationships with the Federació Catalana de Vela and the Federación Española de vela.
