Founded in 2016 from undergraduate students, the FEI's Business and Entrepreneurship Club (CNE) has the purpose to be an active actor in the professional and personal development of its members, sharing knowledge and developing activities in four areas: Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Financial Markets. The club acts as "holding" for the four areas, that have autonomy and operate independently as its own club, bridging the people, fomenting synergy among the areas and making sure the areas are aligned with the club's mission. The campus where the club is inserted is traditionally highly focused on engineering and technology and lack subjects related to entrepreneurship, business, marketing, and finances, as well as other related subjects, and, because of this, CNE has the mission to change the campus ecosystem and develop a more general, open-minded, civilized and out-of-the-box thinking profile on students. We are trying to achieve this bringing lectures, workshops, talks, events and projects that provokes and motivates the students to challenge themselves, go beyond its comfort zone and see things differently.
