Apparel & Fashion - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Canada is and will continue to be a weather phenom. In a single day a Canadian forecast can call for sub zero temperatures, snow, wind, rain, and sun. Being warm and being dry is essential to surviving winter. In fact, being warm and dry can be the difference between surviving winter and LOVING it. With that in mind, entrepreneur Mark Peros founded CMFR to produce superior down filled outerwear jackets. Inspired by the parka worn by hydro workers working high above Toronto's streets, Peros fused the utilitarian functionality that kept these workers warm and dry in extreme conditions, with an urban street style suited for daily life. In 2010 the CMFR arc was born as a symbol of protection against the elements. Denoting the path of a celestial object, like the sun moving from horizon to horizon, life feels better when you are under it. PROTECTION. SHELTER. SECURITY. Acting as a shield or a bow, it provides safety, warmth and comfort no matter where you go or what you do.
