The Co-operative of Community Specialty Legal Clinics of Ontario is part of the Transformation Project, which seeks to transform the way Clinics operate in order to improve services and reduce costs.A number of Ontario's specialty community legal clinics along with the Association of Community Legal Clinics of Ontario formed the co-operative, seeking to:- Promote information exchange and creativity;- facilitate additional training opportunities;- enhance impact through collaboration;- increase research capacity;- improve response to province-wide mandates;- increase the efficiency of administrative systems opportunities;- enable collective investment in improved information technology;- reduce overall costs;- ultimately offer more effective and innovative client services; and- raise collective voice for social justice.
