She received her bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, master's degree from NC A&T State University and is a former hospital chaplain. Her toughest job is being a mother of three children and now a mother-in-law. Her easiest job is taking care of Daisy, a female boxer mix from the shelter who loves her unconditionally and never questions her coaching.
