Use of alcohol and drugs is world's No. 1 most preventable cause of disease.25.4% of 14yo's + have been verbally abused by someone under the influence of alcohol or drugs and 4.5% have been physically (incl sexually) abused by someone under the influence of alcohol (AIHW 2008).The number one factor for women engaging in prostitution around the globe is the use and abuse of licit and illicit drugs.
