COAGRO Details
COAGRO is a green financial organization established since 1992. COAGRO as asset manager of its holding company, was designed to promote ecological initiatives, from basic recycling technologies to green political parties, some related to the Kyoto Protocol guidelines (KP). COAGRO executed an ambitious green strategy by approaching related companies owned and leased properties containing forests, wetlands, mangrooves and others diverse natural resources with special ecological conditions suitable for issuance of VERs-CERs (carbon-linked bonds). COAGRO is making strategic alliances with landlords owners/lessees of forests, wood plantations and renewable energy projects, among others, all with VERs or CERs (Voluntary Emission Reduction and Certified Emission Reduction) issuance capabilities. Furthermore, COAGRO is recently engaging as guarantor in more traditional commercial businesses and projects as real estate, transportation, banking, technology an many others.
