Coastal Stormwater Services is a consulting engineering firm engaged in stormwater management, site stabilization, and environmental remediation projects for private, non-profit, and government clients. With almost 40 years of consulting civil engineering and construction experience, we understand the conceptual, design, regulatory, and construction constraints of our projects. Our stormwater management projects include design of stormwater wetlands, bio-retention basins (large rain gardens), infiltration systems, and pervious pavement. We have an on-going relationship with the North Carolina Coastal Federation assisting with the design and installation of numerous innovative stormwater remediation systems in eastern NC that have shown outstanding reductions of runoff volume and pollutant loads to surface waters and estuaries.Our latest venture with the NC Coastal Federation involves management of design contracts for about 2,400 acres of wetland and habitat restoration; and the provision of construction oversight services for about 8,000 acres of restoration.
