Graeme Macnish retired on 31st December, 2011 after 31 years at the firm.The firm was established in 1981 by Graeme Macnish and Tim Cocks, both partners having considerable experience in the maritime, general insurance and commercial litigation fields.Ashley Nichols commenced employment with the firm in late 1981 and became a partner in 1985.During 2007 Waqas Naseem was appointed a partner and Paul Hopwood and Julia Routley associate partners.The firm was established specifically to cater for clients in the maritime, transport, insurance and related commercial fields.The firm prides itself on its level of close coordination with clients. Each of the members has an ongoing personal contact with their clients.
