CoderDojo is a volunteer led, global movement orientated around running free not-for-profit coding clubs and regular sessions for young people aged 7–17, specializing in computer programming and computer technology.CoderDojo puts an emphasis on self-motivated learning through project work, peer to peer mentoring and the creation of socially innovative projects. As of July 2014 there are 450 CoderDojos in 47 countries, teaching 10,000 children to write computer code and programs each week. Youth learn from one another about computer languages and tools including Xcode and CSS.
