The Codigo Initiative aims to provide training and support to K-12 teachers within under-resourced Chicago neighborhoods in topics of Computer Programming and Computer Science by pairing industry professionals with classroom teachers. This pairing provides the opportunity for industry professionals to share their programming and Computer Science skills with teachers who are eager to incorporate STEM subjects into their curriculums; thereby creating a sustainable mode of STEM education in Chicago schools.
