College of Engineering, Pune is an autonomous engineering college with an affiliation to University of Pune. It is the third oldest engineering college in Asia and is consistently ranked among the top institutions of higher education in the country. COEP, a recognized Center of Excellence is also the hub of various curricular, extra-curricular and technical activities which attracts participation and praise alike from numerous colleges and industries in India.MindSpark is COEP's national level, annual technical festival. Having had a footfall of 15,000 last year, MindSpark has grown to become one of the most awaited events in the country.In its 10th edition this year, to be held on 23rd, 24th and 25th September, the festival aims to incorporate the concept of green engineering through its theme 'MindSpark'16 - A Green Expedition'. The fest will encompass 51 events, both technical and non-technical, spread across all branches of engineering. This also includes the pilot edition of Pune's only, student organized 24-hour Hackathon.
