The Boat Club, which is one of its kind in the country is a prestigious student organization established back in 1928 and is famous not only for its well-equipped gymnasium and majestic river view but also for the exciting athletic endeavours. The Boat Club annually hosts its traditional, invigorating festival, REGATTA, wherein enthusiastic students display their talents in various shell games and punt formations, which witnesses a footfall of around 1500 every year. It promotes skills, wisdom and confidence in the ability to handle uncalled situations along with fitness and joy. Apart from this, Regatta is also known for its eminent keynotes.The event steps into the 90th edition this year, circling around the theme – WORLD PEACE which exemplifies international friendliness, collaboration and economic prosperity resulting in freedom hence, abolishing violence.
