A warm aromatic fragrance, emanating from a small batch of speciality coffee beans, made way for a new passion on the road to discovery of what really good coffee is all about. When Azzouz and Rebecca met in a small coffee shop in London, little did they know that this would be the start of a new partnership, leading to their own coffee store on the Waterfront at Ipswich Marina, in 2005, then last year, their newest flagship Cafe in Woodbridge, Suffolk. The company now roast coffee beans from 40 single origins worldwide, from their Roastery located in Ipswich, serving their speciality coffee throughout their own cafes and kiosks, selling to trade, restaurants and hotels too. They also supply coffee machinery, parts and products across all the well known coffee brands. The business now has over twenty four outlets, including a couple inside East of England Co-operative stores, as part of the ‘Sourced Locally' initiative. Coffeelink operate a 1972 converted fire engine, used for events and match days at Ipswich Town Football Club, also available for weddings and private hire.Good to know, is that they have been supplying their environmentally friendly fully compostable, bio-degradable take-a-way cups, with recyclable lids, since 2012! Solar panelling was also installed on the roof of their Roastery and this was recognised by the Suffolk Carbon Charter, awarding them the Silver Level.A recent social media promotion led to the birth of a new flexible coffee subscription service too, so this real passion for good quality, ethically sourced, sustainably grown, Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade coffees, now filters through to consumers, who can enjoy the amazing taste at home, choosing a delivery schedule to suit. We have been on our own journey of discovery for everything coffee since 2005, join us!
