Based in Trecastagni, Italy, Cognitive Technologies and Services Srl (Cogtech - www.cognitive-aviation-training.com) employs 21 professionals, mainly IT engineers, psychologists and aviators. Cogtech is a small innovative company, specialized in cognitive studies and that fulfilled several researches related to aviation training, focused on attention and situation awareness.Our main projects are realized in partnerships with some Aviation Institutes based in Sicily, with a substantial student base (more than 1000 students). Cogtech is at present time providing courses, qualifications and job opportunities to these students.Innovation, focused on Aviation industry is our mainstream of action.Our target is a structural improvement of flight safety by posing mankind and his cognitive processes at the very centre of our research and related services. We are acting to reach this objective through our R&D sector, focused on the development of specific software and the use of state-of-the-art technology. Education plays a core role in the fulfilment of our mission: the development of an aviation training sector that includes advanced flight simulators' management and an ATO are one of our main achievements and it represents a milestone for further steps into the future of professional training.
