Our product comes under the umbrella of Internet of Things for Smart Cities. Our product uses sensor networks to allow seamless management of many operations of a smart city like Solid waste collection and disposal, Smart parking, Smart warehousing and many more such applications.In waste management, we use sensors to measure the fill level of the municipal garbage bins and communicate the same to the cloud from where alerts and reports can be generated for the sanitation department to take prompt action. This saves a lot of money for the waste management authority, and ensures on-time collection of solid waste bins. In smart parking, we use a similar sensor network to sense each parking slot in an indoor parking lot and determine whether it is vacant or occupied. In Smart Warehousing (foodgrain warehouses), we use sensors to measure the height of the stacks of grain sacks, with which the vacant storage spaces inside the warehouse can be easily found.
