We develop biotechnological processes to synthesise greenhouse gas (GHG) neutral plant oil alternatives. These oils substitute palm oil, cocoa butter and similar which are frequently connected to GHG heavy sourcing (deforestation, mono cultures, long transportation chains) and unethical practises (child and forced labour). This way, we provide the foundation for more sustainable consumer goods in cosmetic respectively food industry and contribute to climate protection.
