The COLLECTIVE project aims at developing conditions for the creation of communities (bottom-up approach) supporting each phase of the innovation process, by providing SME associations with an ICT operational platform named iCOMMUNITY. iCOMMUNITY platform will enhance SME specific innovative abilities in: • using different tools and methodologies for new trend foresight, new idea generation, and design implementation; • generating new trends, concepts and models about products, processes, or business models; • creating self-organized communities which support development of new products and their business models by means of collective intelligence sharing web-application. The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme managed by REA-Research Executive Agency under Grant Agreement n° FP7-SME-2008-2-243593. The project will last from January 2010 to December 2012
