College Battle of the Bands (also known as CBOB or College Battle) was the first successful national collegiate-music talent search, running for 4 years across the US with over $450,000 of prizes awarded to college musicians and artists of all genres. Past finalists include: Rozzi Crane (USC) the first artist signed to Adam Levine's new label, Beyond this Point (Five Towns College) who are now Jon Bellion's band, Mike Posner (Duke), Local Natives (Pepperdine), John King Band (UGA), The Lonely Biscuits (Belmont U), Flint Eastwood & Behold the Brave (Lee U), The Shadowboxers (Emory U) now signed by Justin Timberlake, Brandon O. Bailey (Memphis),Jacob Snider (Columbia U), Phonetic One (Wisconsin), Dylan Owen (NYU), Land of Pines (U of Washington), Bailen (NYU), Raquel Rodriguez (USC), and many more.In conjunction with CBOB, the tours also brought integrated concert events with leading brands including Live Nation and Chegg, where winners would open for national acts. Headlining acts included: T-Pain, Avicii, Big Sean, Dev, Theophilus London, The Crystal Method, Chiddy Bang, Xaphoon Jones, MNDR, T. Mills, Big Boi of OutKast, and more. The 2010 National Championship featured an advisory session with Garth Brooks for the top four national finalists.
