Mentoring transforms lives: we connect kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities that inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures. We want all kids to look forward sooner and be able to give back later. We do this through our innovative mentoring program that pairs kids in 1st - 6th grade with a college student mentor. Our program is unique in 4 ways:-Activities take place on a college campus for high impact exposure to higher education-Kids are reached at an early age when behaviors are forming and can be changed-Learning activities are hands-on so kids are engaged-Dual-impact on kids and college studentsCollege Mentors for Kids is serving over 2,700 kids through 3,200 college student volunteers at 32 college and university chapters in 9 states: Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Virginia, and New York.
