The College of Social Sciences and Philosophy Student Council (CSSP SC) of the University of the Philippines - Diliman, is the duly-elected, student-led body of the college responsible for providing leadership and service that cater to the needs of its constituents. It aims to represent and further the interests of the students, as well as foster their interests and participation by offering relevant campaigns, services, and projects.In the current CSSP SC Constitution, the positions are as follows: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Councilors (the exact number depends on the current CSSP population), and 8 Department Representatives. The Vice Chairperson heads the Students Rights and Welfare Committee, while the councilor with the highest number of votes becomes Secretary General and heads the Secretariat and Logistics Committee. Other Committee Headships, specifically the Education, Training, and Popular Struggles Committee, Finance and Special Projects Committee, and Publicity Committee are open for applications among other council members. The aforementioned committees are known as the Executive Coordinating Council of the CSSP SC. The CSSP SC also includes the CSSP Representative to the University Student Council as an ex-officio member to coordinate the initiatives of the College and Council to other higher bodies in the University.
