The Collision Safety Institute (CSI) is an independent traffic collision research, training and crash consulting organization. For nearly 14 years now, CSI's mission has been to provide state-of-the-art training and technology transfer to both public and private entities involved in the analysis and evaluation of motor vehicle collisions, provide technical support to professional associations and organizations in their training efforts and conduct testing and research on surface vehicle collision topics and related technology. Current content of the CDR Data Analyst's Course covers the very latest in GM, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda and Suzuki, BMW, Volvo and Mercedes-Benz crash data through version 12.x.When it comes to research and testing, CSI's unique assembly of the varied backgrounds and disciplines, experience and talents of the staff, affiliate and adjunct instructors and researchers offers more than 150 years of combined, cumulative experience in virtually all areas of motor vehicle collision research and analysis. For more than the past 20 years, in a variety of positions and conditions and addressing a multitude of situations and variables, CSI's experts have been involved in more than 1300 pedestrian, motorcycle, air bag deployment, "low speed" and even commercial vehicle crash tests.
