An intuitive web app centered around organizing research animal colonies. A significant amount of time in animal research is spent working with and organizing the animals. Investigators are tasked with the challenge to create litters of certain genotypic frequency, while trying to prevent inbreeding, as well as staying within their agreed upon population limits. Colony Core aims to create a centralized digital database to store animal data and allows for the use of algorithms to optimize breeding, sacrificing, and future planning of colonies.
