Twice a year (January and June) a new edition is published with nine high-quality Color Groups, each with eight colors.- Pantone textile codes included- Digital Color Swatches to easily use these colors in your design software.As Home Interior product designers, we have been working with colors for over 25 years. Astrid started as a fashion designer. So for her colors have always been a starting point for every new collection and product group. Twice a year, Astrid and her team work two months on composing new color groups, based on a combination of experience, color skills, research in cities like New York, Shanghai, Paris, Milan and London, web search and going over dozens of magazines. (Yes, we still love to tear out pages to make old school mood boards). We fill up our whole studio wall, structuring the first outlines of the color groups. Discussing and re-arranging this over and over, we end up with the color groups we like, and we start looking up the corresponding Pantone Color Codes.Then we start working with the colors while we design our new home fashion print designs. Sometimes we change a few colors, and when every color group works well, we have our new Color Concept by Astrid Davidse!
