About usWe are a non-profit statewide organization committed to the on-going improvement and advancement of the glass and glazing industry in the state of Colorado. The CGCA was founded in 1993 to promote the improved education and quality of the glazing industry. Our Executive Officers, Board of Directors and Members, have worked hard to help elevate the knowledge and professionalism of our membership, therefore giving back to the communities of Colorado glazing installations that are safe, professional and of the highest quality.The CGCA hosts regular dinner meetings, which feature guest speakers covering a variety of products and up to date issues that affect the glass and glazing industry. These meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend and everyone comes away having learned a little more about the business. We also sponsor several social events each year which are always enjoyable and well attended. Our gatherings are very beneficial not only to the glazing industry, but also those involved with Architecture and General Contracting.Year after year new volunteers and veteran members are committed to improving this organization through their service on our Board of Directors. In the past our board members and executive officers have accomplished several long term strategic goals, legislative triumphs and integrated new immediate resources which also benefit our membership such as;member pricing with many suppliers, and pre-payment discountscontinuing education opportunities offered as scholarships and online classeslegislative action to improve circumstances for subcontractorsaccess to overstock of fellow members via the website centralized databasenetworking opportunities that coincide with educational seminarsannual social events that promote camaraderie within the industrypartner for maximum impact on nonprofit efforts such as the Ronald McDonald house and the rebuilding of Columbine High School
