Our MissionCOLORS' mission is to ensure that LGBTQ+ identified youth have the mental health support they need in order to walk into their adulthood affirmed in their sexual orientation and/or gender identity and are able to achieve their full potential while supporting strong and productive relationships with their families, partners and other community members.We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to be the best version of themselves and everyday, we serve LGBTQ+ youth by offering free and unlimited mental health services to them, their families and their partners.Our VisionWe strive to provide LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy that addresses LGBTQ+ identity, self-esteem, bullying and oppression in order to nurture and empower youth to realize their highest potential.Our ApproachCOLORS therapists are taught how to help youth recover in deep and lasting ways from the pain of not being fully accepted. We also work to educate our youth about LGBTQ+ culture, history and long-lost potential. COLORS therapists are trained in Antioch University's LGBT Specialization in Clinical Psychology where they learn to face their own internalized homophobia and oppression as part of their training to help LGBTQ+ and allied individuals grow greater psychological fortitude.
