For more than 50 years, students and professionals from all over the world have joined us in the picturesque Dutch cities of Leiden or Amsterdam for the Columbia Summer Program to learn about all aspects of American Law taught by distinguished Professors from Columbia University.Besides the excellent educational aspects, the Columbia Summer Program is also known for its exceptional fine atmosphere amongst participants and professors from Columbia University. The bonds summer students form with professors are strengthened outside the classroom, through daily lunches at the university and social activities. Hans Smit established the program with this collegial atmosphere in mind.In 2020 the Columbia Summer Program will take place in Leiden from the 6th of July till the 26th July. Students have the possibility to obtain 5 EC (European credits, ECTS).The program for the 2020 session of the Colombia Summer Program is to be confirmed.
