Commodity Trading is an exciting way of trading, available to all that are disciplined enough to know how and when to enter a trade, and when to exit. Commodities are traded in the following manners: Spot trading - With spot trading the commodity is usually inspected and delivery takes place either immediately or with very little time delay between the trade and delivery. Forward contracts - With forward contracts two parties agree to a future date for exchange to take place on a given quantity for a price defined today. Future contracts - A future contract is similar to a forward contract although the transaction takes place through an exchange. Future contracts is referred to as a standardized contract in which the buyer and seller accept the product with regards to grade and quantity and only negotiate on the price.
