Commodore Books provides an innovative platform that is transforming the ways in which college students buy and sell textbooks. We are a peer-to-peer network and arbitrage-based service that exploits the pricing inefficiencies between textbook wholesalers, college bookstores and independent student vendors. Commodore Books was founded in Spring 2015 by a group of friends who were frustrated with the Vanderbilt book-buying experience and wanted something more. We're excited to serve the Vanderbilt community and make cheaper books and better service available to everyone. One of the most important values we hold at Commodore Books is community. Straight off the bat, 10% of our profits go to a Vanderbilt charity, Mentor TENNISsee. Our executive team includes a diverse group of accomplished individuals, who hold leadership positions across a wide variety of campus organizations--Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, Army ROTC, Pi Beta Phi Sorority and the Men's Squash team. We come from a wide range of backgrounds--Chicago, New York, Baltimore and Los Angeles. And most importantly, we're all immensely proud to attend Vanderbilt University. From our team to you, anchor down, and see you around campus! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any of our team-members.
