The current and impending crises have clarified the lack of support for long term systems globally. This venture recognizes the need for significant investment in long term sustainable systems - healthy forests are the pre-eminent such system. Yet our forests are now well maintained only by those who have a clear vision of the possibilities and the discretionary income to support such an unbankable activity. It will focus on forests and the way the internal systems and economics of activities around forests work, and what to do with this knowledge and about the barriers to more extensive effort to stabilize these very climatically dependent and biologically active sites.
