The Communication Arts and Technology Unit (CATU) administers the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Technology at the University of Technology, Jamaica.Driven by the credo - 'We are and we create tech-savvy weavers of the world's narratives" - the Unit delivers modules focused on building skills in Journalism, Marketing and Public Relations within this "digitized world". Our students are exposed to the three phases of production: Pre-production (e.g. writing for print/web/radio/screen, creative writing, workflow customization, event coverage planning, etc.); Production (public speech, photography, videography, digital audio, web design, animation, etc.); and Post-Production (non-linear video editing, digital image editing, sound and visual effects, etc.) and much more!Think you're creative?
