We implement practical, sustainable solutions that integrate science, technology, planning, design, finance and community engagement to create permanent public benefits. We pioneer innovative and collaborative approaches that combine strategic planning, policy and on-the-ground projects focused on land, water, wildlife and people. We focus on uniting diverse communities and leveraging public and private funds.We use a green infrastructure approach to plan, design and execute park, river, open space and natural habitat restoration projects, establish new local water supplies, improve water quality, reduce greenhouse gases, restore native ecosystems and create community open space where it is most needed.CCS has a twenty-year track record of implementing successful conservation projects that have made positive and permanent changes in California's urban landscapes. CCS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
