Community Foundation of Henderson County is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) public charity helping people who care make lasting contributions to causes that matter. CFHC is a highly visible, philanthropic leader directed by an engaged and committed board and staffed by qualified employees who empower donors at all levels to invest in professionally managed charitable funds that address community needs. The Community Foundation makes giving easy, flexible and effective by accepting a wide variety of gifts and providing donors with a range of ways to fulfill their charitable wishes. CFHC accepts gifts of cash, contributions made by check or credit card, stock (both publicly-traded and closely-held), real estate and insurance policies. In addition to starting a fund yourself, you also can make a contribution of any amount at any time to any of the more than 500 funds at the Community Foundation.
