We are the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge.Our mission is to enrich the quality of life in our community by responding to needs and inspiring philanthropy. We are a nonprofit organization created by and for a community of people. We are supported by local donors and governed by a board of private citizens who work toward the greater good of the community. The Community Foundation distributes grants, scholarships, and awards to worthy organizations and individuals each year. The funds for which come from a wide variety of donors who establish permanent charitable funds, or contribute to existing funds, to ensure that the charitable work that matters most to them will be supported today and forever. The Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge serves the independent cities of Staunton and Waynesboro and the counties of Augusta, Nelson, and Highland.
