For decades, Community Phonebook Company offered award-winning local telephone directories for 37 cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts, as well as small business web design and marketing services. With a focus on the communities served, their directories included valuable, up-to-date information on schools, town government, town services, recreation, clubs and organizations, libraries and other resources available to the public. Each directory also included a handy, full-color street map on the inside back cover.Community Phonebooks were delivered free-of-charge to every home and business in the communities served, with additional copies available at select locations such as town halls, libraries and the local chamber of commerce. In 2012, the company's talent resources were acquired by another phone book company, and the brand was dissolved.
