The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit (JFMD) launched CommunityNEXT (CNXT) in January 2010, to attract and retain young Jewish talent here in Michigan. The majority of CNXT's initiatives focus on the cultural, social, and professional aspects of their lives. CNXT is working with Federation departments and agencies and the larger community to connect young adults with job and internship opportunities, and coordinate current, and develop new programming, to create a culture and lifestyle attractive to young adults, making Detroit a place where they want to live, work, and play.CNXT provides avenues for young Jewish adults to achieve a dynamic lifestyle in Metro Detroit.
