Founded in 2005 as Compass Auto Tracker, LLC and now doing business as Finder Technologies, has invented a proprietary and patented technology designed to locate a wide range of objects using wireless Radio Direction Finding methods. Developed, manufactured and marketed the Auto-Finder, a hand-held device about the size of an automobile key fob, that locates parked vehicles from up to 1/2 mile away.Using the world's smallest directional anteanna system, the Auto-Finder consists of two small transcievers: an in-car windshield-mounted beacon and a hand-held Pointer Remote. When the Search button on the Pointer Remote is pressed, it sends a strong signal over 1/2 mile to activate the in-car beacon. Using our RDF technology in the Pointer Remote, the direction of the vehicle is determined and a row of LED lights in the shape of an arrow accompanied by soft audio tones lead the driver to their vehicle.
