The Compassion Center of Northwest Arkansas opened its doors in 2011 and instantly became a landmark destination in the heart of Springdale. Located at 3157 W. Sunset in Springdale, the Compassion Center showcases a variety of gently used and even brand new items available to the community at well-below retail prices.100% of the profits generated by our thrift store are returned directly to the community, in the form of free services and events to enable Northwest Arkansas families and our regional community to thrive. To that end, our team regularly offers assistance with food through our Choice Pantry, Feed The 479. Throughout the year the Compassion Center partners with numerous other local organizations supporting them either financially or through product disbursement. The Compassion Center takes an army of volunteers to make the daily operation a possibility. Six days a week staff and volunteers are processing donations, showcasing new merchandise, and welcoming hundreds of shoppers all under the mission of creating a place where we can meet people's physical and spiritual needs.
