Compete 360 is a small and innovative 501(c)3 organization that fosters a design thinking (DT) practice in city schools by training teachers, facilitating student-led projects, and hosting the DT Philly Showcase, where student teams in our 6th-8th grade and 9th-12th grade divisions present their work to a panel of design and business professionals and compete for grants to support the evolution of their projects. Compete 360 also operates K-2 and 3rd- 5th grade DT Philly programs, helping students learn and use the design thinking process to address a problem in their classroom or school. Compete 360's priority is to work with under-resourced schools, helping teachers bring new ideas and practices to their work and helping students engage in hands-on, inquiry-driven learning.
