Competing against Cancer is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 entity begun in 2017. It was started by a group of dedicated individuals who understood that cancer is more than just a physical disease and it disrupts the lives of individuals in many different ways. Competing against Cancer was started to address the various areas of need that often get overlooked in the struggle against cancer.Cancer is not going away and it continues to invade our lives every day. We compete to prevent cancer from destroying the life of another person. We compete through education, preparation, participation and determination. We compete for our health, our peace of mind, our future and our lives.
