The Composers Society of Singapore (CSS), formed in 2007, has a vision: to be the steward for Singapore composers and Singapore new music.Our mission is to uphold the interests of Singapore composers, foster the creation of new music in Singapore, and promote Singapore new music locally and abroad.CSS is also the national representative for Singapore to the Asian Composers League (ACL).CSS is run by an executive committee (EXCO), made up entirely of volunteers elected by CSS members every 2 years.Continuing Objectives:1) To grow in size, relevance and reputation in the next years, so as to represent all locally-based and overseas Singapore composers in increasingly meaningful ways.2) For activities to be well-funded by a variety of sources, and include new initiatives, such as annual commissions by leading orchestras & ensembles; international partnerships; a major annual event; mentorship programmes for students & young composers; and other outreach ventures.3) To build a stellar reputation among all of its stakeholders and emerge as the to-go-to organization for anything concerning new music and musical composition, and to be recognized for its spirit and sense of communityComposers Society of Singapore新加坡作曲社Persatuan Komposer Singapuraசிங்கப்பூர் இசையமைப்பாளர்கள் சங்கம்
