Where traditional speaker diaphragms try to limit the negative effects of undesired resonances, Composite Sound strive to engineer Thin-ply Carbon Diaphragms (TPCD) to prevent undesired resonances from ever occurring. By optimizing the thickness, stiffness and damping in different parts of the diaphragm, the modal behavior is engineered to be controlled.
