G-RAD uses Fiber Optic Gyroscopic technology to obtain geographic North azimuth to ±0.2° and inclination to ±0.1°. The G-RAD can operate either underground or on the surface.G-RAD is designed to be used in high traffic terrain. Includes durable iPad with touch screen. Connects via Bluetooth.When used during the installation of the drilling machine the G-RAD can be mounted on drill rods or in the tower.
