Computer-Aided Interpretation (CAI) provides accommodations for individuals who are deaf and/or hearing impaired. CAI provides a verbatim transcript of the spoken word within seconds after said. The individual can read the laptop screen or projection and participate in the on-going meeting, conference, class, doctor's appointment, or whatever verbal situation he/she may be in. They also receive a transcript of the event.
