Computer Pals Blacktown offer accessible and affordable computer classes, conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where participants achieve their goals and at the same time find learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.Our vision is to promote the development of competent, confident and connected members, empowered to enrich their lives by taking advantage of the benefits that flow from becoming skilled computer users.Our hope is to minimise social isolation, particularly for the elderly and people that have limited mobility, by motivating members to use their newly acquired computer skills to remain active, informed and engaged family and community members.Through mutual respect, compassion, integrity and trust, our dedicated tutors and trained volunteers help people gain confidence by learning computer skills. We run classes on how to use - Smart Phones - Internet Security - Microsoft Office 2010- Microsoft Office 2013- Microsoft Office 2016- Windows 7- Windows 8.1- Windows 10- Internet Browsers ( Explorer & Safari )- Use of Laptops- Family Trees- Digital Scrapbooking - Apple IPhone- Apple Operating Systems ( IPhone, I Pad)- Android Operating System- Tablets- Digital Cameras- Facebook- Skype- PicasaWe welcome people from across different communities and culture to connect and learn with us!
