Computer Science Institute (CSI) of Charles University was founded on January 1, 2012. Its main activity is research in theoretical computer science. CSI builds upon more than ten years of tradition and activity of the national research centre ITI; it continues to organize Mathematical colloquia and publish ITI-IÚUK preprint series, oversees the organization of regular conferences (STTI, MCW), organizes student exchanges (ERASMUS, REU), has a leading role in the international centre DIMATIA.
